Dr. Trisha Dipprey was born and raised in Lake Jackson, Texas. She attended The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston where she graduated with Honors in 1995 and also served as President of her medical school class her junior year. After medical school graduation, she did an Internship in Internal Medicine at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston. She then moved to New Mexico where she completed her training in Internal Medicine at the University of New Mexico Health Science Center and she then went on to do a Fellowship in Critical Care Medicine which she completed in January of 2002.
Upon completion of her training, Dr. Dipprey worked for Albuquerque Pulmonary Associates where she performed Critical Care medicine for three local hospitals. In December of 2005, Dr. Dipprey was diagnosed with liver cancer and decided to move back home to Texas to be closer to her family during treatment. She then transitioned out of Critical Care Medicine and began a multi-year career in Emergency Medicine for many different north Texas hospitals. During this time, she also covered Internal Medicine services for multiple DFW metroplex psychiatric facilities. Dr. Dipprey has always had a desire to have her own Internal Medicine clinic and thus, in collaboration with several other health care professionals, decided to open Connections Primary Care.
Dr. Dipprey was a member of Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society in medical school and is currently a member of the Texas Medical Association and the American Medical Association. In her spare time, Dr. Dipprey enjoys working out, running, gardening and being with her dogs. She is also avid Texas Longhorn fan and enjoys watching and attending Longhorn sporting events.
